Our Story

Over the last three decades, Clean Country has honed its unique ability to provide consistent quality cleaning nationwide. Like most fledgling start ups, 30 years ago Jim Evans, the Company’s founder, cut his teeth cleaning a number of commercial buildings himself.

After toiling in the trenches for two years, Jim combined that experience with his innate creativity to pioneer the management of commercial cleaning for Government facilities throughout the Midwest. Today, Clean Country cleans over 200 Government locations spanning a 30-state area from coast to coast. Recently, Clean Country hired individuals to clean 41 buildings spanning a nine state area.

Clean Country has a long standing commitment to using industrial green cleaning products to reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil, improve air quality, and reduce greenhouse gases. In 2003, the Company began supplying its custodians with Certified Green Seal chemicals nationwide and continues that practice whenever it is feasible.

Clean Country is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council®, the nation’s foremost coalition of leaders dedicated to making buildings healthy places to live and work.

With the recent addition of the Company’s highly qualified Chief Operations Officer, Clean Country now has the proven ability to offer guaranteed services to Government and Corporate personnel with facilities from 500 to over 2 Million square feet nationwide.
